A $20K/month account had plateaued at $180 CPL. We cut it in half — and it stayed cut five months later.
THE CHALLENGE
A mature account that had stopped improving.
This client wasn’t running a broken account. They were running a good one — $20K/month, contact lists segmented by sales territory, a clean strategy with measurable results.
But every campaign was targeting a cold audience. After a long run of solid performance, everything plateaued. CPL had settled at $180 and was showing signs of diminishing returns — the audience was fatigued, and there was no next lever to pull inside the existing structure.
This is the hardest kind of account to move. Nothing was wrong. Everything just wasn’t enough anymore.
WHAT WE DID
Built two new audience layers on top of the existing cold strategy.
Instead of tearing down what was working, we added architecture around it. Two new audience layers, one after the other.
THE PREDICTIVE STACK
Three data sources feeding the AI audience.
Predictive Audiences learn from whatever seed data you give them. We built three separate Predictive Audiences — each seeded from a different high-quality data source, all filtered against the ICP.
To validate the approach, we ran a parallel test on a second brand under the same client. Same architecture. Same predictive audience sources. The results replicated.
THE RESULTS
CPL dropped by half. Then it stayed there.
The Predictive campaigns hit a $45 CPL in week one — four times better than the baseline. Once integrated across the account, the overall CPL settled at ~$90, cutting the total account cost in half.

The durability is the story.
Most audience wins on LinkedIn fade in 4–6 weeks as the audience saturates. This one didn’t. Five months in, the account is still holding at ~$90 CPL with no degradation.

" We doubled booked calls, cut CPL by more than half, and drove significant ROAS improvement — without touching the budget. And it’s still working five months later. |
WHAT THIS PROVES
Three lessons for anyone running a mature LinkedIn account.
Running a mature account that’s plateaued? The next layer is where the next win lives. Let’s find yours. |
